I’m absolutely in love with Jewellery Theatre, a russian brand that makes luxurious, colourful and dramatic jewels, with such attention to details and interesting designs that you just can’t stop admiring them!

Irina Dorofeyeva and Maxim Voznesenky started up their company in Moscow in the late 90′s and have been designing since then amazing collections such as the Caravaggio collection, with colourful slices of fruits, the Elements collection, with fire and splashing water, the Revelation collection, made with diamonds and gold, and so on..

Jewellery Theatre is a special kind of theatre whose actors are pieces of jewelry, so, in order to be seen and heard by the public, these “actors” have been given the unique ability to stand upright, as a sculpture, thanks to the special “heel” at the bottom of the rings, developed and patented by the master craftsmen of Jewellery Theatre.

I really loved the rings in the form of mushrooms from the Fairytales collection, where you can also find dragons, Russia’s firebird or wish-granting fishes!

“The purpose of Fairytales is to embody precious pieces of jewelry with the character and mentality of primal Russia”, says Voznesensky.

If you’re not in Moscow, you can also find these amazing jewels at Bonebakkers Juweliers, in the gorgeous Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam
