Prior to 2004, Urban outfitter’s corporate headquarters were housed in several different buildings in Philadelphia. CEO and founder, Dick Hayne decided to consolidate and bought space in Philly’s old Navy yard. He purchased one building for each of his companies (Urban outfitters, Free People, and Anthropologie). It took two years to complete and resulted in a GORGEOUS new campus.
It just goes to show that creative companies need creative spaces…..complete with mini golf course and space for dogs! I think I’d like to work for Urban outfitters!
