Sandals and Socks

The first thing that pops into my mind when I think of sandals with socks, is the image of a “Birkenstock” with “adidas” socks, and of course hairy leg.

This footwear combination is one of the biggest taboos of fashion. Many say: If it’s hot enough for sandals, it’s too hot to wear socks. If it’s cold enough to wear socks, it’s too cold for sandals.

Yeah, right, but I look at the styling of the fashion shows for Prada, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, and others, and I think it’s just gorgeous. I have two “Lurex” socks, and I am waiting the right occasion to wear them with my wedges. Maybe the right occasion is today: 16 degrees, sunny, but not hot!
